I’m now providing microsclerotherapy treatment for thread veins and spider veins on legs. This is the gold standard and most effective treatment for a problem that affects many women and men. Not only are leg spiderveins and threadveins an important cosmetic problem, in some cases they may be symptomatic of more serious venous reflux problems. I provide a comprehensive assessment including a physical and doppler ultrasonic assessment of the veins in your legs. Treatment is usually simple and effective. The cost is £200 for the assessment and veinlite guided treatment. If further treatments are required for more extensive spider veins or thread veins these will cost £150 per 45 minute session.
I was trained in London at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine. I qualified in 1982. I spent many years working as a consultant in paediatric medicine in Middlesbrough. I retired from the NHS in July 2010 and am now working as an aesthetic doctor. I am married and have two children, who are home educated.
