Plexr arrives in Newcastle upon Tyne

Plexr Upper Eyelid Lift Arrives in Newcastle upon Tyne

What is Plexr?

There has been an evolution of technology termed Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty. This procedure utilises non-surgical techniques to tighten the skin around your eyelids, reducing overhang and droopiness.

What are the advantages of a Plexr Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty?

The benefit of this technique is that it avoids surgery and it is done without a general anaesthetic so there is minimal risk and quick recovery.

What does Plexr Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty involve?

Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty tightens the skin around the eyelids. The Plexr (Fusion GT) uses a technology that provides an alternating electrical current to create tiny superficial burns in the skin. The treatment can be completed in less than 60 minutes.
Recovery is usually quick with some swelling that fades over 1-2 weeks. The skin darkens, fresher skin comes through and gradually lightens. Scabs are allowed to fall off naturally after a week or so. Mineral make-up can be applied during the recovery period. Patients are able to resume most daily activities after about 1 week.

Depending on the degree of skin laxity, most people will need between one and three treatment sessions, with six weeks between each treatment to allow full recovery.
